About us

A clinic for people who train

Clamp Chiropractic is Dr. Efrain Mendoza’s practice in Denver, with Dr. Yvonne Seabrook. We see lifters, runners and weekend athletes, and the people who sit at a desk between sessions.

Every first visit starts with a conversation about your sport and your week, then an exam of how you move. Care starts that day only if you agree.

  • Your sport comes first

We ask how you train, in person, before any plan is made.

  • Explained first

Your doctor explains each step, the options and the risks before you agree.

  • Costs up front

You hear what care costs before you agree, and can ask for a written estimate.

Our approach

Three things we do at every visit

No fixed course of visits. Your doctor sets a plan after the exam and goes over it with you each time you come in.

  • A wall of spinal MRI scans lit from behind

    We watch how you move

We look at how you squat, hinge and reach, so the plan fits your sport and not only your spine.

  • A clinician in a white coat examines a patient’s wrist in a bright treatment room

    We explain before we treat

You hear what we found, the options, the risks of each and the cost before anything starts.

  • A man in a white T-shirt does a side stretch on an outdoor court

We check in on the plan

Each visit starts with how training has gone since the last one, and you decide together what comes next.

FAQ

Common questions

Plain answers before you book.

What happens at my first visit?

You talk with your doctor about your history and how you train, then have an exam of how you move. Your doctor explains what was found, the options, the risks of each and what each would cost. Care starts that day only if you agree. Allow 45 to 60 minutes.

Is chiropractic care safe?

Like any treatment, it has risks. Many people feel sore for a day or so afterward. Rare serious risks exist, which your doctor explains before the first adjustment and before any neck adjustment. Tell your doctor about your health history, and you can ask to stop at any point.

How many visits will I need?

Your doctor sets a plan after the exam and goes over it with you. It depends on you and your goals, and it can change as you go. We do not promise a number of visits.

Do you take my insurance?

We bill most PPO plans and some others, and a plan may not pay for every service. The front desk checks your benefits before your first visit. How fees work explains the rest.

Do I need x-rays?

Not at every visit. Your doctor takes x-rays only when medically necessary, and explains why before ordering any.
